The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) has urged the U.S. Trade Representative to defer or lower proposed tariffs on Korean goods, citing strict prohibitions against forced labor. This comes as the USTR recently proposed 12.5 percent tariffs on Korea and other economies over forced labor concerns.
