EIA lowers price expectations for U.S. and Brent crude oil for this year and next.

Jinse Finance reported, on July 8, the EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report: It is expected that the WTI crude oil price in 2026 will be $76.26 per barrel, compared to the previous expectation of $88.32 per barrel. It is expected that the WTI crude oil price in 2027 will be $60.76 per barrel, compared to the previous expectation of $74.39 per barrel. It is expected that the Brent crude oil price in 2026 will be $81.91 per barrel, compared to the previous expectation of $95.39 per barrel. It is expected that the Brent crude oil price in 2027 will be $64.76 per barrel, compared to the previous expectation of $79.39 per barrel.
