Jinse Finance reports that on July 7, according to Bitcoin Magazine, Tether plans to natively issue USDT on Bitcoin via the RGB protocol v0.11.1, with UTEXO driving commercialization.

This means USDT could return to the Bitcoin network where it was first issued in 2014 via Omni-Mastercoin.

RGB will allow users to send and receive USDT between Bitcoin addresses and compatible wallets.

UTEXO said the related functions are expected to go live as early as July, with wallets such as TetherWallet and multiple exchanges to gradually support it.
