The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education has issued an emergency notice. From the afternoon of July 9 to the full day of July 10, all primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and off-campus training institutions must suspend all offline educational and teaching activities and will not hold any gathering-based activities. Suspend or postpone all kinds of summer camps, study tours, and other activities; for those already held, adjust their time schedules accordingly. Colleges and universities should make reasonable adjustments to their summer teaching, research, and social practice plans, suspend unnecessary group activities and outings, and teachers and students who stay on campus or return to their hometowns should take precautions against typhoons. Closely monitor typhoon warning information, reduce unnecessary outings, and pay attention to safety at home and during travel. Teachers and students staying on campus should follow the school’s unified arrangements and take effective self-protection measures. (CCTV News)
