The China Securities Regulatory Commission has issued an announcement, formally filing a case to investigate a netizen known as “Nanjing Road Baby Boss” (real name An Mou, male) for fabricating and spreading false and misleading information involving the listed company Offcn Education (002607).
The regulator said the conduct seriously disrupted the order of the securities market and is suspected of violating the Securities Law of the People’s Republic of China; if there is any suspected criminal activity later, the matter will be transferred to public security authorities for handling according to law.
