CoinWorld News, citing a CNN reporter: A US official said Iran fired on three commercial ships in Omani territorial waters near the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday. The official said the attack was a "serious violation" of the Iranian memorandum of understanding. The third strike had not been previously reported.
