WaterX officially launches the prediction market WaterX Predict, simultaneously launching a one-month "WaterX Predict Festival" event.

BlockBeats News, July 7 - According to official sources, Sui AI native trading platform WaterX has officially launched its prediction market (WaterX Predict) and simultaneously rolled out a month-long "WaterX Predict Festival" event.

WaterX Predict features a "slide to predict" interaction. Users do not need to understand market depth, odds, or spreads; they simply slide to select the side they support to complete a prediction. The platform also introduces a Gift Link feature, allowing users to package a prediction position into a link to share with others. The recipient can claim it by clicking the link, lowering the entry barrier for new users. Officially, this design aims to enable Web2 users and sports enthusiasts to participate in the prediction market with low barriers.

Alongside the launch of the prediction market, WaterX is rolling out the "Predict Festival" event, spanning the 2026 World Cup and lasting one month. According to official information, the event rules require users to make daily predictions to accumulate "treasure chests." Based on the cumulative active days during the event period, the more active days, the higher the treasure chest level. Each transaction also gives additional USD rewards, up to 10% of the transaction volume (for a $100 transaction, up to $10 can be earned). During the event, besides the World Cup, various prediction markets such as crypto and esports are also eligible to accumulate treasure chests.

It is reported that WaterX has been selected for the Sui Foundation's Moonshots Program and received official ecosystem support. The event started on July 7 and will run until August 7.
