This short was very decisive; once the rhythm emerged, there was no need to hesitate.

After opening the position around 7.894 for $LINK, the chart first ground sideways, wearing people down. Many thought it would still charge upward, but what I'm watching is not whether it can pump, but whether there are buyers to catch it when it pumps.

The answer was obvious: none. The price then pressed all the way down to 7.839, with open position profit at +50.33%. The trend extension is clear. This is the most typical rhythm of profit-taking after high-level pressure.

The key is right here: short positions are not about chasing bearish candles, but about securing the position before the bulls exhaust themselves.

I had already noticed this level earlier; several attempts to break higher failed to hold, indicating that the key resistance above is real.

Now the profit is quite substantial; an 80/20 batch processing is more suitable. For the rest, use a protective stop to maintain the structure—don't give back the initiative.

Opportunities come every day; don't chase a single candle recklessly. Don't chase trades; wait for the next position with stronger certainty.
