Heavy rain in multiple areas of Guangxi has triggered floods, resulting in 6 deaths, affecting approximately 375k people, and 130k have been evacuated for emergency resettlement.

Guangxi held a press conference on flood control and disaster relief in the evening. Currently, Guangxi still has over 300 reservoirs exceeding flood control limits, 41 rivers with 56 stations above warning levels. Some reservoirs and river embankments have been soaked by high water levels for a long time, posing high risks of landslides and collapses. Authorities said that more than 8,300 personnel and over 5,700 boats, rescue boats, and other equipment have been deployed for emergency rescue.

The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee has allocated 60 million yuan from the party fees managed on behalf of the Central Committee to five provinces and regions, including Guangxi and Gansu, to support flood control and disaster relief efforts.
