$BONK DAO Loses $20M — No Hack, Just Governance Exploit
How it went down:
• Attacker bought ~$4M worth of BONK
• Created a fake proposal to send 4.4 trillion BONK ($20M) to their wallet
• Proposal sat unnoticed for 7 days
• At the last minute, they used their voting power to pass it
• DAO auto-sent the tokens
• Attacker turned $4M into $20M and dumped.
BONK DAO has notified law enforcement and is trying to recover funds.
