78% of Singapore IT leaders complained about lack of infrastructure for scaling AI - ForkLog
About 78% of IT leaders in Singapore said that the lack of infrastructure for real-time data processing is slowing down AI adoption. This was reported in a report by Confluent analysts.
According to the 2026 Data Streaming Report, which surveyed 4,625 IT leaders from 14 countries, 72% of companies faced three or more problems when scaling AI initiatives. In Singapore, this figure reached 78%.
Main obstacles:
More than 73% of leaders of Singaporean IT firms reported suspending projects in this area. These figures are comparable to those across the Asia-Pacific region: 74% frozen and 53% closed projects.
As for investment priorities, 86% of Singaporean leaders rank data streaming among the top areas, along with AI and machine learning solutions
Recall that in February, JPMorgan analysts reported on the world's largest family offices betting on artificial intelligence.
