United Nations: Global FDI grew 6% year-on-year in 2025, but concentrated in a few sectors

Mars Finance News, a United Nations report says that global foreign direct investment (FDI) increased by 6% year-on-year in 2025, reaching $1.6 trillion, but growth was concentrated in 20 economies and a few industries, such as AI infrastructure, data centers, oil and gas, and semiconductors. (CLS)
