After blasting DeepSeek for disrespecting people in interviews, Huawei’s “genius boy” Li Bojie was accused by a former investor of “taking the money and cutting off contact.”

According to “Dongcha” monitoring, Li Bojie, one of Huawei’s first batch of “genius teenagers,” complained on social media about his interview experience with DeepSeek, saying that during a coding interview he was questioned about cheating and therefore ended the interview on the spot. This outcry quickly sparked a new controversy, as former investor and Web3 venture capital firm ABCDE co-founder Du Jun publicly accused Li Bojie of “lacking contract spirit.”

Du Jun accused Li Bojie and his partner Zhuang Siyuan of, during the period when they founded Metagent in 2024, after receiving ABCDE’s investment, refusing to fulfill their agreed obligations to provide synchronized updates on financial and business progress, and then directly went missing and fled. Du Jun said he can accept projects failing in many ways, but cannot accept founders’ fraudulent behavior of taking the money and running.

Li Bojie resigned from Huawei in 2023 and co-founded Logenic AI (later renamed Pine AI). He has not yet responded to these allegations.
