I'm openly reviewing this short position. $ESPORTS went from 0.08377 to 0.02147, and +1464.34% has been realized.
The hard part earlier wasn't the direction, but holding still without moving. When price was consolidating at highs, many still thought it would keep surging. I instead felt this was critical because the price was getting weaker the longer it ground, the bounces had no strength, buying pressure couldn't keep up, and the structure had clearly changed.
After entry, there was intraday volatility, but it didn't break my thesis. The real change came when it broke below the key level, and shorts took over the rhythm. After the profit came out, I didn't fantasize about taking the whole move. I took partial profits in 80/20 batches, left the rest with a protective stop, and watched to see if the trend could continue to provide more room.
Trading is like this: be decisive when opportunity comes, stay calm after cashing out. If you missed it, don't chase lows. Don't chase on bounces. The market fluctuates every day. Wait for the next more comfortable setup.
