According to the bilateral agreement between China and Mongolia, the three major border crossings will be closed for 5 days (July 11 to July 15) during the Mongolian traditional Nadam Festival, and will resume customs clearance on July 16. According to Mysteel's survey, some Mongolian drivers have already taken leave and gone home early. This week, the number of trucks passing through Ganqi Mod Port is expected to gradually drop below 600. Currently, the inventory in the supervision zone of Ganqi Mod Port is 4.3491 million tons, and it is expected to drop to around 3.3 million tons after the Nadam Festival. It is anticipated that high-quality spot resources at the port will be tight, and trading companies have slightly increased their quotes.
