Korea Midland Power Co. recruits 140 new employees in the second half of the year.

Korea Midland Power Company began recruiting new employees for the second half of 2026 at Grade 4 from the 7th, starting a talent acquisition drive for a total of 140 positions. To improve the efficiency of recruitment operations, the company is conducting sequential recruitment in two rounds divided by job group and period.

In the first second-round recruitment, a total of 98 people will be selected in the technical job groups of mechanical and electrical fields. This is a move to secure core personnel for power plant operations early and strengthen on-site response capabilities. The subsequent third-round recruitment will target the fields of office work, IT, chemistry, civil engineering, and architecture, aiming to hire a total of 42 people. The third recruitment announcement is planned to be implemented in September of this year.

The biggest feature of this recruitment is the change in the selection process that considers the socially disadvantaged. Korea Midland Power Company has abruptly introduced a "document screening exemption system" for applicants who are veterans and persons with disabilities.

Lee Young-jo, CEO of Korea Midland Power Company, emphasized, "We will foster talent to lead the future energy industry through the expansion of youth employment and the strengthening of socially equitable recruitment," adding, "As a public corporation, we will take the lead in realizing social value and focus our capabilities on securing excellent personnel suitable for the job."
