JPMorgan estimates that the Nasdaq 100 alone will require passive buying of $4.3 billion, with total global indexes possibly reaching $35 billion.
What's even crazier—Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and at least six other brokers have collectively given "Buy" ratings, with Morgan Stanley directly setting a target price of $300, representing 87% upside from Monday's closing price. Wall Street is forming a preliminary consensus.
But don't get carried away!
The spot price has been pulling back from its all-time high of $225 and is currently fluctuating around $158.

My take: The passive buying from index inclusion is real incremental capital, but the circulating supply is limited and volatility is extremely high.
