CoinJie News: Tether is preparing to natively issue USDT on the Bitcoin network based on the RGB v0.11.1 protocol, with Utexo handling commercial issuance and distribution. Utexo co-founder Viktor Ihnatiuk said the company has received support from Tether and is responsible for driving the rollout of native Bitcoin USDT. The RGB protocol uses client-side validation and combines with the Lightning Network to enable instant, low-cost, and private USDT transactions. In the future, users will be able to hold USDT directly through native Bitcoin addresses and complete sending and receiving with Lightning Network wallets that support RGB. Utexo is deeply integrated with Tether, and users can convert USDT between different public chains through its cross-chain bridge.
