Mars Finance News, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance will be held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20. Gan Xiaobin, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a press conference held by the Shanghai Municipal Government on July 7 that the annual production of humanoid robots is expected to exceed 100k units this year. Manufacturing is the main battlefield for AI-enabled applications. Currently, the adoption rate of AI applications in industrial enterprises above designated size in China has exceeded 30%, and humanoid robots have begun to "enter factories and workshops." The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is working with various parties to deeply implement special actions such as "Modulus Resonance" and "Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence Real-World Training" to explore high-value application scenarios. During the conference, the China-BRICS Center for AI Development and Cooperation will release the "International AI Ethical Governance Action Plan." (Cailian Press)
