Just now, the drop in $RUNE finally paid off for the short position.

Entry position at 0.4544, current price at 0.4016, current profit +560.64%. That was a nice chunk of profit.

The key point isn't how much it dropped, but that it had already stopped following the upward trend at the high.

Many people thought it was just a normal pullback, but I already felt something was off.

The rebound had no strength, and the support was weak.

I don't like to guess the bottom in this kind of market. If it's weak, I follow the weakness. After entering the short, it's basically about timing the profit-taking.

I'm not greedy now.

I've already taken 80% of the position off the table, leaving the remaining 20% running to let the profits ride.

Stop-loss is tightened accordingly to prevent the gains from turning into back-and-forth whipsaws.

Don't rush to chase just because you see a drop here.

The bears are indeed in control, but chasing after the sentiment actually makes the risk worse.

Next time, wait for a failed retrace before acting.
