This short position has finally played out. $VELVET went from being stuck at a high to losing patience, and now the price has been pressed down to 0.51127. The rhythm is already very clear.

I opened this long position near 1.66025. What really caught my attention at the time was that the upward momentum didn’t sustain; instead, every time it rallied, it got slammed back down. Many people were still waiting for a breakout, but what I saw was an active pullback after resistance.

Now the floating profit has reached +686.38%, and the market space has been released quite cleanly. But the more this happens, the more you can’t get carried away. My approach is still the old habit: lock in part of the position in batches using an 80/20 split, and keep the rest with a trailing stop to continue watching for extension. Don’t let the profits already in hand get eaten away by a pullback.

The key point is this: making money on shorts doesn’t come from shouting—it comes from positioning and patience. If you didn’t get in around 1.66025, don’t chase it now. Wait for the next more comfortable opportunity to move.
