China Payment and Clearing Association issues tips on preventing cross-border gambling fraud through virtual currency top-ups.

Golden Finance reported that the China Payment and Clearing Association has issued a tip on how to prevent cross-border gambling scams involving virtual currency recharges, aiming to help the general public enhance their awareness of anti-fraud and resist gambling, as well as their ability to recognize and avoid scams. The China Payment and Clearing Association reminds that “ten bets, ten losses” is common in cross-border gambling, and that using virtual currency to participate in gambling is more covert and carries greater risks. Participating in gambling and providing fund settlement services for gambling activities are illegal and non-compliant behaviors. Do not engage in virtual currency gambling transactions, and keep the bottom line of fund safety.
