Trump: I can destroy all Iranian power plants "in less than an afternoon".

Golden Finance reported that on July 7, according to The Jerusalem Post, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday local time that the negotiations between the U.S. and Iran were close to reaching an agreement, but if the talks failed, the U.S. would “carry out the mission.” He said the U.S. has the capability to destroy all of Iran’s power grids, power plants, bridges, and other critical infrastructure in “less than an afternoon,” but would rather resolve the issue through an agreement to avoid affecting Iran’s population of 91 million. He reiterated that Iran must never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, that the U.S. would obtain Iran’s enriched uranium nuclear material, and emphasized that the goal is not to push for a regime change. Trump also claimed that the U.S. military has destroyed all 159 Iranian vessels, all military aircraft, and radar systems. Speaking about oil prices, Trump said: “Oil prices are now at a level lower than before the war (per barrel). During the U.S. military’s secret escort of oil tankers while the Strait of Hormuz was under blockade, it succeeded in maintaining global crude oil supplies and preventing oil prices from soaring to $300 to $350 per barrel.”
