Golden Finance reported that on July 6, according to the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), since the launch of the “Qinglang·Rectifying AI Application Chaos” special action in April 2026, the Central Cyberspace Administration has focused on AI application chaos, including failure to fulfill the obligation to file and register large model information in accordance with regulations, insufficient security and content review and filtering capabilities of AI platforms, AI data poisoning, and inadequate implementation of labeling for generated and synthetic content. It has deployed cyberspace authorities at the local level to advance the key rectification tasks in the first phase in depth, and has opened an “AI Application Chaos Reporting Zone” to specially accept public reports. With the joint efforts of all parties, in the first phase, a total of more than 14,000 AI products, including non-compliant websites, applications, and intelligent agents, were dealt with; more than 6,000,000 pieces of illegal and non-compliant information were cleared; more than 26,000 accounts were handled; more than 1,300 non-compliant AI products and 9 non-compliant open-source datasets were taken down, and all work has made positive progress.
