USDC is quietly reshaping the stablecoin landscape.

Visa's latest adjusted on-chain data shows that USDC accounted for nearly 70% of stablecoin transaction volume in the first half of 2026, while USDT represented around 25%.
The bigger picture is even more interesting:
• Stablecoin transaction volume reached a record $1.79 trillion in June, up 63% from May. • More banks and financial institutions are integrating USDC for payments, settlements, and treasury operations. • The focus is shifting from speculation toward real-world financial infrastructure.
This doesn't mean $USDT is losing its relevance. It highlights that institutional adoption is evolving, with regulated and trusted infrastructure becoming increasingly important.
The stablecoin race is no longer just about market cap. It's about who powers the next generation of global payments.
Do you think institutional adoption will keep pushing $USDC ahead, or will USDT remain the dominant force in global crypto liquidity? 👇
