BlockBeats news, July 6, according to BIT(bit.com) market data, US chip stocks collectively strengthened: AMD (AMD) rose 8.13%, Broadcom (AVGO) rose 5.48%, Arm (ARM) rose 5.39%, Qualcomm (QCOM) rose 5.15%, TSMC (TSM) rose 4.81%, Intel (INTC) rose 3.79%, and Marvell Technology (MRVL) rose 3.70%.

Optical communication concept stocks led the gains: Credo (CRDO) rose 11.14%, Astera Labs (ALAB) rose 10.08%, Ciena (CIEN) rose 4.57%, Coherent (COHR) rose 4.53%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) rose 4.19%, and Corning (GLW) rose 3.90%.

The storage sector also rose in tandem: Western Digital (WDC) rose 9.11%, Seagate Technology (STX) rose 5.90%, SanDisk (SNDK) rose 2.41%, and Micron Technology (MU) rose 1.72%.
