Bitcoin mining company TeraWulf announced a 20-year data center lease agreement with Anthropic, planning to build approximately 401MW AI data center in Kentucky, USA, with an estimated revenue of about $19 billion over the contract period, and the first batch of capacity is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2027. In addition, TeraWulf also agreed to sell its 50.1% equity stake in the Abernathy AI data center joint venture to a group of investors led by Fluidstack, with the transaction expected to release about $450 million in investment capital for the company to expand its wholly-owned AI infrastructure business.
