The Hong Kong Observatory issued a Yellow Rainstorm Warning Signal at 7:05 p.m.

The Yellow Rainstorm Warning Signal indicates that heavy rain with an hourly rainfall exceeding 30 millimeters has been recorded or is expected over a wide area of Hong Kong, and the rain may persist.

Flooding may occur in some low-lying areas and areas with poor drainage. Residents who may be affected by the heavy rain and flooding should take appropriate precautionary measures to prevent possible losses.
