Three major tech investment institutions
Plan to collectively subscribe for up to $7 billion in SK Hynix's U.S. stock offering
According to a filing submitted to the SEC on Monday, Baillie Gifford, Coatue Capital, and Situational Awareness have jointly expressed interest in subscribing for up to $7 billion in total when SK Hynix's ADR (ticker $SKHY) is listed, accounting for about one-fourth of the total fundraising size of $28 billion
Situational Awareness was founded by @leopoldasch, recently dubbed the new stock god of U.S. stocks. Baillie Gifford, known as the "growth stock catcher," bought Tesla in 2013 and was once the second-largest shareholder after Musk. Coatue Capital has also participated in early investments in many famous unicorns, such as TikTok and Uber.
