This $XRP short setup went pretty smoothly. When I was watching the chart at night, a lot of people were still wondering whether it would bounce back—but I instead reminded the brothers at base camp first not to get fooled by the small pump, and I entered the short position in advance.

After that, the price was pressed lower all the way to around 1.11, and this trade also rode the move to capture more than 2x the space—basically taking the meat it was meant to give.

This time, XRP’s weakness wasn’t sudden; there were already signs on the 1-hour chart.

The resistance bounce kept getting more and more weak. After it ground sideways for a while, it simply got smashed downward—showing the handoff at the highs wasn’t strong enough, and nobody was rushing to step in and support the market below.

In setups like this, the most dangerous thing is seeing it drop and then chasing it. By then, the entry is less comfortable, and you’re also more likely to get dragged back and forth by the next follow-up retracement. If your mindset gets thrown off, you won’t be able to hold your position.

For now, still focus on securing the profits and don’t let an interim small counter-rally lead the way.

As long as it still can’t reclaim the upper level after a long time, keep treating it as weak here. Later, just wait for it to give its next comfortable opportunity. $BTC $ETH
