Anthropic signs 20-year data center lease with Bitcoin mining company TeraWulf

Golden Finance reported that AI giant Anthropic has announced a 20-year data center lease with Bitcoin mining company and data center operator TeraWulf to build AI computing infrastructure in Kentucky, USA. The first batch of power supply for the data center is expected to start in the second half of 2027. According to the agreement, the initial lease is expected to bring TeraWulf approximately $19 billion in revenue. TeraWulf is accelerating its transformation from a Bitcoin mining company to an AI data center infrastructure provider, with its stock price rising over 80% year-to-date, reflecting the market's continued pricing of demand for AI computing infrastructure.
