It is difficult for ordinary people to achieve enlightenment. Awakening requires four conditions. First, directly doing one thing to the extreme brings you closer to the Way. Second is pain. I can only be awakened by pain, not by being called. The more pain, the more awake. Third is leisure. You must have time to think. Office workers find it hardest to awaken. Fourth is boldness. You must be able to deny everything and dare to refuse anyone, especially those closest to you.
