Russia's largest bank, Sberbank, plans to launch a crypto wallet and digital custody service by December after the relevant digital asset bill is passed, and will integrate them into the Sberbank Online and SberInvestments platforms. The bill is expected to take effect on September 1 and will establish a licensing framework for crypto trading, custody, fiat exchange, and cross-border settlements. Sberbank stated that the new wallet will allow customers to access authorized cryptocurrencies within the bank's own applications. (CoinDesk)
