5 things you need to have in your suitcase before coming to vietnam 🇻🇳

- earplugs:
noise is everywhere anytime in vietnam.
scooters, construction, street sellers, karaoke..
this is a must have if you want to sleep peacefully.
- raincoat:
during rain season it's raining heavily almost everyday
as we usually move by bike it's a must have to survive.
- slippers:
rain season makes everything dirty.
your beautiful white shoes wouldn't last one week.
vietnamese usually wear slippers.
(most specifically crocs 😅)
- masks:
in big cities like hanoi or ho chi minh city the pollution can be high sometimes.
you will see every local wearing a mask in the street.
it won't fully protect you but it helps preserve your health.
- facial cleansing wipes:
weather is very hot and humid.
by staying outside just 10 minutes your face will sweat and produce sebum.
it can be uncomfortable and give you acne.
better to clean your face from time to time if you stay out a lot.
Vietnam is a great country, but can be quite challenging for western people that are not used to tropical weather and vietnamese culture.
