Let's see what trader level you are currently at.

Beginner Level|Getting Started
Familiar with exchange functions, able to complete trades independently, starting to try different strategies, but has not yet established a complete trading system.
Level 2|Preliminary System
Mastered mainstream technical analysis methods, has initial trading rules, but lacks stability, the system still has obvious flaws.
Level 3|Rule Execution
Has formed his/her own trading system and can strictly execute according to the rules, but the system's coverage of market environments is still not comprehensive enough.
Level 4|Mature Trading
Accumulated extensive practical experience (5000+ hours), established a long-short dual-direction trading framework, and started to place position management, profit/loss ratio, and risk control as the top priority.
Level 5|Opportunity Mindset
No longer fixated on predicting the market, instead focuses on finding high-quality trading opportunities, but the model for screening opportunities still has room for improvement.
Level 6|Probability Advantage
Has a relatively mature opportunity identification system, can consistently stand on the side of probability advantage, but has not yet fully quantified the relationship between trading opportunities and risk-return.
Level 7|Quantitative Decision-Making
Respects the market, does not rely on emotional trading. Uses data tools to quickly assess key indicators such as win rate and risk-reward ratio, and only strikes patiently when conditions are met.
Level 8|Programmatic Trading
Mainly relies on scripts and automated strategies to execute trades, no longer manually monitors the market for long periods, runs the system through parameter-driven operations, approaching autonomous driving (L2).
Level 9|Intelligent Trading
Fully adopts robot trading to achieve automatic strategy execution and risk management, while possessing solid trading skills and programming abilities, approaching high-level autonomous driving.

The 5,000-hour threshold for the four stages is just too real. I still can’t even figure out how to trade both long and short positions, and my position management is an absolute disaster—I'll just take it slow and endure it.

I just matched myself up with the roles and found that I’m stuck between the second and third stages. The rules are there, but when it comes to putting them into practice, I can’t help feeling restless and wanting to carry on. It looks like I still need to keep training.
