Deep Tide TechFlow News: On July 06, industry firm SemiAnalysis said on Monday that, due to obstacles in key circuit board manufacturing, Nvidia (NVDA.O)’s next-generation flagship product—the Kyber rack-level architecture designed for the 2027 Rubin Ultra chip—has been delayed by more than 12 months to 2028. This is the latest case among a series of recent product setbacks, further deepening market doubts about Nvidia’s product roadmap.

SemiAnalysis’s report shows that the delay is rooted in the system core—the manufacturing challenges of the PCB midplane. SemiAnalysis said Nvidia currently “has no mature solution to scale Rubin Ultra,” which could open a rare technical window for competitors such as AMD (AMD.O) and Google (GOOG.O) in the high-end market, since both companies’ in-house chips have already been adopted in leading AI labs.
