Abstract generation in progress
Individual investors’ “acts/shows” in ETFs are still steadily increasing. According to statistics compiled by a Securities Times reporter, among the 9 ETFs listed this week (from July 6 to July 10), the share of holdings held by individual investors is close to 80%, and in some products it even reaches 98%. Such a situation is not accidental. Judging from the reporter’s statistics for June this year and the first half of this year, this has continued to strengthen as a trend. The data also shows that individual investors prefer popular thematic ETFs, but they tend to trade more frequently. Industry insiders believe that individual investors’ participation in ETFs will continue to rise; however, only with continuously improving understanding of ETFs can they achieve a better holding experience, which will place higher demands on investor education by fund companies.
