First, the result: the $RE short position has been closed for profit.

From 0.71099 down to the current 0.65044, profit +167.68%. This downturn has played out more cleanly than expected.
Back then, many people were watching the rebound, but I felt something was off.
Each time the price surged upward, the follow-through was weak—like someone was pushing it up, but nobody was willing to keep buying.
At this kind of level, I’d rather stand with the shorts.
In fact, I already noticed this position earlier—the signal wasn’t suddenly appearing; most people were just a step slower to react.
Now, the position has been handled in batches.
I’m taking back the 80% first at take-profit, and keeping the remaining 20% for further trend extension, but the protected level must be kept in sync and moved up accordingly.
When you’re in profit, you must not get relaxed.
At this point, it isn’t suitable to chase shorts emotionally. The smoother it looks, the easier it is to have the rhythm thrown off by a single pullback.
If you missed it, just watch from the sidelines for now.
Next time, wait for confirmation of weakness after the rebound.
