New semiconductor chip can simultaneously measure multiple biological signals

Mars Finance News: A research team from the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea has developed the world’s first “time-interleaved third-order noise-shaping successive-approximation register analog-to-digital converter” semiconductor chip. The chip can synchronously measure various biosignals, including cardiac electrophysiological activity and recording details of muscle rest or contraction. The team recently presented a related paper at the IEEE International Symposium on VLSI Circuits in Honolulu, USA. (Cailianshe)
