Clarity Act legislative process stalled, facing time pressure and ethical controversy for passage within the year

Some Democrats are demanding that the Clarity Act include restrictions on senior government officials and members of Congress and their families profiting from the crypto industry. The slow progress of House legislation and procedural obstacles are affecting the final vote and signing process of the Clarity Act.
