IDF Claims Full Control of Bofort Ridge in Southern Lebanon

On July 6, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi visited Bofort Ridge in southern Lebanon. Halevi stated that after capturing Bofort Ridge, the IDF has now fully controlled both the surface area and the underground tunnel network of the region. He also mentioned that the IDF will continue to take actions to eliminate threats from Lebanon. Bofort Ridge is a strategic location in southern Lebanon, offering a vantage point over a large area of the region. On May 31, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the IDF had captured the Bofort Ridge outpost.
