Abstract generation in progress
On July 3, the kick-off meeting for the price supervisor system in China's steel industry was held in Beijing.
Tang Zujun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Iron and Steel Association, emphasized that the steel industry has entered a new development stage of reducing production volume and optimizing existing capacity. Enterprises can no longer rely on "price wars" to survive, but should focus more on technology, quality, brand, value, and service.
Tang Zujun specifically emphasized that price supervision is not price coordination, let alone a price cartel. Price supervision work must be carried out in accordance with laws and regulations, especially strictly abiding by the Anti-Monopoly Law, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, the Price Law, and other relevant provisions of national authorities.
This is an important principle and bottom line for all supervision activities. (CISA)
