Coin World News, according to Nikkei, British Petroleum (BP) is considering withdrawing from its offshore wind power project in northern Japan, which it is jointly developing with a Japanese partner.

According to multiple sources, BP has begun discussions with consortium partners regarding the withdrawal. BP's UK headquarters said that no final decision has been made yet.
