Abstract generation in progress
Jinse Finance reports that George Goncalves, Head of U.S. Macro Strategy at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Americas, said that Warsh’s concise style makes the June meeting minutes carry more weight than usual, providing valuable insight into the different positions among Fed officials. “The minutes will become more important, because so far, we don’t know what the Fed is thinking,” Goncalves said. “It will be enlightening to see how they debate and what they focus on.” He added that some investors have already questioned Warsh’s “hands-off” approach, and many hope for a return to greater transparency. Many market participants aren’t used to less information, and there is still a considerable degree of skepticism about how long the Fed can maintain this. Now we can only interpret the meaning between the lines. (Jin Shi)
