Mars Finance News, July 5th: At the RoboCup 2026, known as the "Robot Soccer World Cup," held in Incheon, South Korea, Tsinghua University's Huo Shen Team defeated China Agricultural University's Shanhai Team in the final of the Humanoid League Large Size category, successfully defending their title.
Both teams used domestically produced robots.
Last year, at the RoboCup 2025 Humanoid League Adult Size competition held in Salvador, Brazil, Tsinghua University's Huo Shen Team and China Agricultural University's Shanhai Team also faced off in the final, with Huo Shen Team taking the championship.
Additionally, in the RoboCup 2026 Humanoid League Small Size competition, Wuhan University's Invic Team won the championship.
It is understood that this year's Robot World Cup adopted an "AI competition" format, where robots make autonomous decisions and respond flexibly on the field based on pre-written AI strategies. (China News Service)
