Whether the price follows the decline or not the rise—it's easy to buy but hard to sell. Just look at the order book depth. When I bought, I could get 1,000 coins in at once, but when selling, even 20 coins had to be placed as orders for half a day. One of the sells even got eaten by someone for 0.5 coins.
