Mars Finance News, July 5 - According to Polymarket data, the probability of the CLARITY Act being signed into law by 2026 has risen to 52%, up 12 percentage points from July 3. On the news front, the Major County Sheriffs of America (MCSA) stated that after initial concerns about how the bill would impact illegal financial investigations, the association has withdrawn its opposition to the CLARITY Act. Analysts believe that the MCSA's shift in stance has removed a key obstacle in the advancement of the CLARITY Act, increasing the feasibility of it entering the Senate voting process. However, opposition from the banking sector to stablecoin yield products and DeFi regulation remains a major uncertainty.
