One interesting temple in Ayutthaya is Wat Na Phra Men, built over 500 years ago during the late Ayutthaya period. The energy inside the ordination hall is still and very powerful. Personally, I think it’s one of the most beautiful Buddha images in Thailand, perfectly proportioned according to the teacher’s canon, with a golden ratio.

In the past, the Burmese used this temple as a stronghold, making it the only temple to survive the destruction of that era. The ordination hall is a Maha Udom hall built according to ancient texts, for requesting forgiveness of karma, resolving karma, and annulling oaths.

The main point for making wishes is to make a wish and then focus on the left eye of the Phra Buddha Nimit, the presiding Buddha dressed as a chakravartin. It has a yantra associated with it, with the power to revive one’s fortune and overcome various obstacles.

Because it is an ancient hall, there are auspicious yantras at the archway. When entering, go through the right door under the Sotsa Mongkol yantra to cleanse inauspicious things.

When exiting, go under the Maha Chakraphat yantra to open your destiny for luck and fortune.

Wishing you great success!
