Let's be blunt: the market runs every day, and the first to be eliminated are those who trade based on luck and feelings, and those who can't control themselves. This applies to any market, including sports betting and poker. Only after you control your mindset and your hands can you talk about technical analysis and planning.

Yeah, when you can’t control your hand, technical analysis is basically useless. Once your mindset breaks, every indicator starts looking like you’re getting played.

Too real—I've seen so many people double their money, then go all-in and end up with zero, only to lose back the gains they made through luck with sheer skill/ability.

I feel the same way. You must first learn to cut losses and stay out of the market before you can talk about compounding. The market punishes all kinds of defiance.
