50% of people use AI just by opening a browser and treating it as a glorified search engine. 30% know how to assign tasks based on model capabilities. 15% inject their own domain experience into AI to build a feedback loop. Only 5% dive deep into the underlying models.

But among this 5%, over half waste their time building "dashboards." Honestly, that does zero for your decision-making; you’re just building a shiny toy. Only a tiny fraction of people can build consistently profitable projects, and their profit formula is almost entirely built on "Information Asymmetry."
What is Information Asymmetry?
First, the time lag.
I wake up every day and spend 15 minutes reading first-hand overseas intel. About 6 hours later, you'll see influencers posting what I already knew just to harvest traffic. A few hours after that, local financial media finally starts reporting it. This 12-hour gap perfectly exposes the complacency of traditional media. Just think about what a 12-hour head start can do for your edge.
Second, the cognitive gap in financial rules.
From options volatility to the underlying mechanics of the US stock market, I believe most people only have a superficial understanding. Just grasping the mechanical differences between various brokerages (including local sub-brokerages) and crypto exchanges is enough to generate a massive information edge. For instance, analyzing the correlation between the Korean market open, US market freeze mechanisms, and index tracking—this data alone is enough for me to predict Monday's US market gap direction.
Third, aggressively smash your echo chamber.
You need to start ruthlessly executing the "I'm not interested in this post" algorithm-training movement. When you see short posts starting with clickbait, they are mostly empty fluff fed to people who refuse to think. You must dig relentlessly for primary sources instead of heavily relying on influencers. Otherwise, who do you think gets harvested in this market if not you?
Fourth, the true value of systems and moats.
Tools like Fable are already powerful enough to let me easily cross into any industry; the only remaining barrier is compute cost. But a real moat cannot be brute-forced with sheer capital and tech; it requires the compounding of time. No matter how advanced TeraFab gets, it won't outcompete TSMC. TSMC's ultimate moat has never been its technology—it's its people.
If you haven't deeply utilized AI or experienced Fable yet (that pocket change for a subscription doesn't even count as an investment), then in the future, you are destined to be the one who gets "allocated" by the system.
This is written only for those with the cognitive awareness to break through on their own. As for those born with privilege: go work out, stay healthy, and enjoy the rest of your life. The future will naturally supply a horde of people working for you.
